Update: Bobby Sox has been adopted.
Bobby Sox had been a stray cat who was living in a Fort Pierce neighborhood for about a year. A few months ago, someone took Bobby Sox up on a roof and threw him to the ground below. He suffered a dislocated elbow in his right front leg. Neighbors alerted a rescue group which took him to a local vet to recuperate. He uses the leg, but walks with a limp and there is nothing vets can do to make his leg perfect again. Miraculously, he still likes people-in fact he loves to cuddle. He gets along with other cats, but would be happiest in a home where he could get the kind of love and attention he craves, but has probably never had.
Bobby Sox is available for adoption or permanent foster, although he has no special needs except the need to be loved and treated with kindness.
