Lucas and Luna are a two-year-old Siamese mix brother and sister who came to the shelter a few months ago. They are very well-mannered and sweet, but like most housecats are extremely out of place at the shelter. They need a quiet home where they can resume their lives as lap warmers and window watchers.
Harvey is a young FIV- positive boy who came to us from another rescue. He is very handsome and social and gets along with other cats. He should be an only cat or be housed with other FIV-Positive cats as the virus is contagious to cats in certain circumstances. Harvey is available for adoption or permanent foster.
Libby and her brother Amos have been though a lot together, but you would never know it from their sweet and loving personalities. Amos is a lovebug who’ll sit in your lap, while Libby will sit next to you on your bed or chair. They were housed in a warehouse for almost a year when their former shelter closed down, but despite everything they always had each other. They are available for either adoption or permanent foster, but no matter what happens, they will always love each other. They are ready to love you, too.
Scrappy and Star are looking for a permanent foster home together. They were adopted as kittens from Dogs & Cats seven years ago and returned because the owners were moving. They were so upset that they hid under their beds for a month. They are camera shy so this photo is as good as it gets–so come see them in person. Scrappy is a sweet solid black boy and Star is a petite black and white girl. They have been in isolation for a month because they are unable to acclimate to a cat room. They want to go to a real home again.

Finch and Cass are a mother/son combo who would love a home with room for both of them. Finch(the tabby) is only eight months old and his mom, Cass (the dilute calico) is one year. they would be happiest in a semi-active adult home with no dogs or small kids. They often sleep and play together, so they need to find a home together, too.

Update: Cutie has been adopted.
Cutie is a darling seven-month-old boy who was surrendered with several of his siblings by a kindhearted person who rescued them. He is very affectionate and loving with people but tends to get jealous if another cat tries to get attention from “his” human. For this reason, he would be best as an only cat, although he would be OK with a dog .
He is a confident and playful boy who needs an active home.

Shabby is a six year old Persian. She has lived with an older woman all her life and needs a quiet home. She is very friendly with people but cannot be with any other animals. She must be the ONLY pet.
She was matted and our groomer spot shaved her, but she needs an owner who is used to dealing with a Persian coat. It is likely that she will have to be completely shaved or at minimum, brushed daily.

Great news! Hawthorne’s adoption fee has been prepaid by a Guardian Angel
Hawthorne is a young cat who has tested positive for the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (also called FIV or feline AIDS). He was rescued after being dumped at a local park. He is a sweet and loving boy who was obviously a house pet as a kitten, but as so often happens, was no longer wanted after he grew into a cat.
Hawthorne would be perfect for a family of any age. He has no special medical needs, and will live a normal lifespan. He should be an only cat or live in a home with other FIV+ cats, as FIV is contagious to other cats in certain circumstances. FIV IS A CATS-ONLY VIRUS AND CANNOT AFFECT PEOPLE OR DOGS.
Hawthorne has lots of love to give and he wants to give it all to you!
