Adoption requirements

Please keep in mind, these are our general adoption requirements. Exceptions for particular requirements may occasionally be made on a case-to-case basis depending on any specifics about that particular pet that we feel may not need apply. We are a private adoption agency, and have the sole right to approve or deny any application submitted. Many of these requirements stem back to the reasons animals are surrendered to shelters, and while we know that there is no perfect adoption criteria or certainty of the future, our hope is that the homes we find for our animals are stable FOREVER homes so they never have to be without a home again. That being said, our contract requires us to take the pet you adopted from us back, should you ever be forced to give them up at any point in their life.
