Meet Red – Your Adventure Buddy!
Red was found by a kind family who hoped to reunite him with his owner. They lovingly fostered him for five months while searching for his family, but when no one came forward, they made the difficult decision to bring him to the shelter. After all that time waiting, Red is now ready to find his true forever home where he belongs.
This young adult pup is full of love, personality, and a sense of adventure. Red is wonderful with kids, including babies, and enjoys being around people as much as possible. He gets along with some dogs, but he would likely thrive best as the only pet so he can soak up all the attention and affection. (Cats are unknown.)
Red is potty trained and mostly crate trained, and he’s currently working on his skills with continued training support that will carry over into his new home. He can be reactive on the leash toward some dogs, but he is actively in training and making great progress. Red is currently working with a dog trainer and will come with free training support to help set him and his new family up for success.
He’s also great with horses, making him a perfect fit for a farm or more rural setting.
If you love being outdoors, Red is your guy. Whether it’s a trip to the jetty, a stroll through the farmers market, or exploring somewhere new, he’s always ready to go. After a day of adventure, he’s just as happy to settle in for cuddles and quality time with his people.
