Grayson

What a difference 2 years can make. When Grayson left the shelter 2 years ago he was a handsome somewhat chunky middle-ager. Sadly his owner did not care for him properly and left him outside. When he returned to us a few months ago we did not recognize him. Only the microchip and the little freckle in his right eye told us who he was. Even worse, he contracted FIV while living outside as well. Grayson loves people and is very friendly but he absolutely cannot get along with any other cats.A recent vet visit confirmed that his health is good. He is about 9 years old at the need of a single cat home where this time he will be pampered and loved, this time.

I’m ready for the good life!

I’m a young tabby boy who has never had a real home. Even so, I’m as sweet as pie and great with other cats. Unfortunately when I was living outside I contracted FIV but the good thing is that I don’t need any special medicine or special food and I’ll have a normal life span. All I need now is a place to call home and a family to love. To learn more about what owning a FIV+ cat entails, click here

Warrior

I’m a lover not a fighter!

My handlers at my original shelter named me Warrior because I was so brave after another cat attacked me.  I’m getting over my injuries and I’m the sweetest boy ever. I meet people as they come in the room, rub against them, talk to them, and want to be held. Sadly I contracted FIV because my previous owner did not keep me indoors. However, I’ll have a normal lifespan and I don’t need special food or medicine. All I need is love.

George

I’m a handsome boy who has had a rough life. My owner kept me outdoors and I contracted FIV. I had ear mites which made one of my ears look very funny. I only need an indoor home with lots of love. I’m all better now and I don’t need any special medicine or food. Sadly this makes it harder for me to find a home because people don’t understand what it means. Chatty Cathy

Hola!

I’m a young Tabby girl who likes to chirp and chat with visitors. I was one of a group of 70 dogs and cats who were rescued in November from Puerto Rico, following hurricane Maria. I’m FIV positive and I’m bilingual. I never had a real home and I would love to go home with you. To learn more about what owning a FIV+ cat entails, click here.

Sam I Am

I’d like a home in a house.

I’d like a home with a toy mouse.

I’d like a home here or there.

I’d like a home anywhere.

Meet Sam I am. He’s a playful, young male siamese mix who lived outside for most of his life. During his time outside, he contracted FIV. Luckily he can live a pretty normal life as an indoor cat and doesn’t require any special medication. To learn more about what owning a FIV+ cat entails, click here

I’m positive for FIV but I don’t need any special medicine or any special food. I arrived with my brother Storm,  and we would be great together in a home…. or we could be adopted separately.. Hawthorne is a young cat who has tested positive for the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (also called FIV or feline AIDS). He was rescued after being dumped at a local park. He is a sweet and loving boy who was obviously a house pet as a kitten, but as so often happens, was no longer wanted after he grew into a cat. Hawthorne would be perfect for a family of any age.
