Princess Margaret

Princess Margaret and six of her friends were saved from certain death in Ohio and brought to the shelter. She is a very sweet and loving girl who needs a quiet home and lots of TLC

A few months ago I was rescued from certain death when people in my neighborhood planned to poison me and my six feline buddies. At first I was very frightened, but now I’m getting used to shelter life. I love to be petted by visitors and I know that I would be happy in a quiet adult home. Shelter staff gave us all “Royal” names in the hope that someday soon we will all be treated like princes and princesses.

Great news !! My guardian angel has paid my adoption fee.

Muffin

Step aside, the princess has arrived. Muffin is a two year old declawed beauty. She is nearly solid gray but does have some faint tortoiseshell markings. She loves attention from people and can be quite playful. Her ideal home would consist of adults only where she can be the only feline, since she would like to be the queen of her castle. This sweet heart is bound to make some hearts melt, so head on over to meet her today!

Great news! Muffin’s guardian angel has already paid her adoption fee.

Squirt

Squirt is an playful Youngster who needs an active family with older kids. He gets along with other young cats and dogs as well

They call him Squirt! He’s a curious little fellow at just nine months of age. He does great with other cats as long as they are young and playful like himself. He would love to find an active family with adults or older kids who will keep him busy, and another cat or dog to play with would be nice. Squirt is so sweet and loves to follow people everywhere. He truly is the life of the party.

Great news! Squirt’s guardian angel has already paid his adoption fee.

Sookie

Short hair or long hair, so many choices to make. With Sookie, you won’t have to decide because she’s a little bit of both. Her body is short-haired and her tail is really fluffy. She’s only a year old and she’s an absolute doll who loves affection. She likes other cats and her sister Munchkin is actually at the shelter with her. They would love to be together but they can be adopted separately if need be.

Great news!! My guardian angel has paid my adoption fee.

He will be patiently waiting for your call.

Great news! Grover’s guardian angel has already paid his adoption fee.

King Tut

King Tut was a house cat his whole life until his owners gave him up because he could not cope with a new baby in the household. He needs a quiet adult home with other pets.

I’m a middle-aged Burmese boy who needs a quiet adult home with lots of TLC. I must be the only pet as I am very uncomfortable around other cats or dogs. I was a house cat all my life and living at the shelter is difficult for me. Please give me a chance to be your one and only.

Great news!! My guardian angel has paid my adoption fee.

Cacciatore

I’m a super handsome & sweet guy looking for someone to love. Fun fact – I spent my early life roaming the streets of an unsafe neighborhood with my best friend, who was a rooster! Someone rescued me and I found that I really love living with people and other cats. I will follow you around and wait for you to love me. I’m already used to the life of an indoor feline and I’m ready to find my forever person!

Great news!! My guardian angel has paid my adoption fee.

Beanie

The names Beanie. I’m a super sweet, super petite girl who was recently dumped outside of the shelter along with my babies. I’ve got the biggest eyes and the sweetest personality. Harper

Harper came to us as a stray but it’s obvious that she belonged to someone at one time because she is so friendly. She would be a perfect family companion

Just like a single rose can make a garden, a single cat can make your world. Although she would prefer to be the only feline in your life, Harper doesn’t mind having canines and people of all ages as company. She has excellent manners and a very kind personality. At just one year old, she’s ready to blossom in a brand new home that she can call her own.

Great news! Harper’s guardian angel has already paid her adoption fee.

Macy

Meet Macy! This striking three year old girl is quite the looker, but her thoughtful & loving personality will have your heart in an instant. She is as equally playful as she is cuddly and would love to find herself curled up next to you after your catnip toy chasing sessions.

Macy has done well with a small dog and other cats in her former foster home, but has not taken well to the shelter environment. She is still extremely outgoing with people, but definitely prefers the freedom to her own space that a house with just a few felines provides. Macy wants to give and receive all of the love in the world, now she just needs a family to do that with!

Sailor & Rowan

SPECIAL NEEDS KITTENS IN SEARCH OF A SPECIAL HUMAN

Sailor & Rowan are a bonded sibling pair of 9 month old kittens with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). Sailor is the short haired orange female, Rowan is the medium haired black & white boy. A kitten has CH when the part of their brain that controls their balance and fine motor skills, the cerebellum, is underdeveloped at birth. This is a non-contagious, non-progressive neurological condition. In our experience, this usually just means that a cat will wobble a bit when they walk, since most of the cases that we see are mild. However, these two have a more severe case of CH; they have so little balance that they can not walk at all. They manage to get around by crawling and can do so quite quickly if they’re feeling determined!

They currently have a large play pen set up in their foster home with a layer of towels covered in a layer of pee pads, which gets cleaned twice daily. Using a modified litter box actually created more mess because of the way that they get around. Their foster mom tried out onesies and baby diapers on them, but getting them to stay on became difficult – someone a little creative may be able to find a solution for this. They do need to be bathed regularly, and although they don’t enjoy it, they are used to it and it isn’t difficult for one person to do at all. Rowan gets his bottom half shaved regularly to help minimize any mess, since he does have longer hair.

Sailor & Rowan LOVE to be pet and loved on by people almost as much as they love to cuddle and groom each other. These siblings just adore each other and have never been apart, so they must find a home together. Their disability prevents them from climbing and jumping, so if you’re looking for kittens that won’t get on the countertops, here they are! We feel that they would do well in a home with adults or older kids. They’re very sweet but they would need a family who is old enough to understand how to handle them, since they are a bit more vulnerable in a sense. They have been raised around other cats, kittens and a small dog; they will hiss at first, but eventually they accept their housemates.

Sailor & Rowan are currently residing in a foster home in Port St. Lucie, FL. Please give us a call at 772-489-5454 to schedule a time to meet them.

Magic is a lovable one-year-old bobtail girl who came to the shelter when her owner could no longer care for her. She would be a perfect family companion for a household of any age.

I’m a very  smart girl-in fact, I got my name because I seemed to magically go from one cat room to another without anyone seeing how I did it when I first arrived at the shelter. I’m only a year old and have a cute little bobtail. I like adults and children and I get along good with other cats.  I would be a great addition to almost any household.

Butterscotch (Fospice Program)

I’m a beautiful one year old girl who is very affectionate and playful. Although I am healthy right now, I do have feline leukemia and only expect to live for up to another year. Since it can be spread to other cats, I need a home where I can be the only cat or live with other FeLV+ cats and live indoors. I would make an excellent companion and give so much love to a family, even if it is only for a short period of time.

I am eligible for our Fospice Program – so my medical needs would be of no cost to you. Read more about our Fospice Program here.

I’m quiet and always patiently waiting for a human to stop by and accept my affection. I’ve adapted okay to shelter life but I really would love to have a family very soon.

Great news! My guardian angel has paid my adoption fee.

Mia

Mia came to us from Okeechobee along with her housemate Callie Sue. She’s very friendly and loves people of all ages.

Not many of the other shelter felines can say that they have a doctor of napology degree. That’s right, Mia is a pro when it comes to snoozing, and she’d love to find a family that can make room for her on their couch. This gorgeous two year old girl is quite the cuddler and loves to be picked up & held. She would make an excellent addition to almost any family since she gets along great with other cats and people of all ages. She originally came from Okeechobee to the shelter along with her housemate, Callie Sue. They can be adopted together or separately.

Callie Sue

Callie Sue is a beautiful young love bug could be perfect for any family. She gets along with other cats and is very sweet.

I’m more than just a pretty face. I’m a  two year old who came all the way from Okeechobee just to meet you. I’m very snuggly when I sit with you but I don’t enjoy being picked up – at least not yet. I am somewhat independent and prefer that you let me come to you. I have excellent manners and I want to spend my life loving you.

Great news! My guardian angel has paid my adoption fee.

Simon

Simon is a young Tabby and white boy who was found living outside. He was being picked on by other cats and was found to be FIV positive. He’s very loving and sweet and loves to give head bumps

Head bumps and snuggles are in your future. Simon is just two years old and he’s ridiculously sweet. Despite being picked up off of the streets after other cats picked on him, he doesn’t mind sharing his space with other felines. Unfortunately, like many cats who end up living outdoors and are involved in fights, he contracted FIV. Luckily he can live a pretty normal life. Click here to read more about what owning a FIV+ cat entails.

Great news!! Simon’s guardian angel has paid his adoption fee.

Grayson

Grayson is an FIV positive boy who needs a home as an only cat. He is extremely friendly with people

What a difference 2 years can make. When Grayson left the shelter 2 years ago, he was a handsome somewhat chunky middle-aged boy and happy to be going to a home! Sadly his owner did not care for him properly and left him outside. When he returned to us a few months ago after being found in a colony of feral cats, we did not recognize him. Only the microchip and the little freckle in his right eye told us who he was.

Even worse, he contracted FIV while living outside. Grayson loves people and is very friendly but he absolutely refuses to get along with any other cats, especially after his time on the streets. A recent vet visit confirmed that Grayson is in good health. He is about 9 years old now and needs to be in a single cat home where he will be pampered and loved, this time around. Great news! Grayson’s guardian angel has paid his adoption fee.

I grew up with other cats and even a small dog. I’d be happiest in a quiet home with adults or older kids. I’m a sweet affectionate girl who’s ready for my new start.

Great news!! My guardian angel has paid my adoption fee
