Rosalita is a beautiful Redbone Coonhound and Shepherd mix, born around November 2025, who has been at Dogs & Cats Forever since March 2026.
This sweet girl is on the shy side and takes a little time to trust new people. She can be a bit skittish in unfamiliar situations, so she may need a couple of meet-and-greets before her true personality begins to shine. Once she feels safe, you’ll discover a quiet, gentle, and incredibly sweet companion.
One thing Rosalita absolutely loves is other dogs. She has a special playmate at the shelter who helps give her confidence, and it’s been wonderful to watch her come out of her shell. Because of this, we think she would do best in a home with a friendly, confident dog who can show her the ropes and help her continue to blossom.
