Meet Bolt! Bolt came to Dogs & Cats Forever at the beginning of August with his littermates. With his adorable puppy looks and unique markings, he is ready to find a family of his very own.

Meet Beanie 

Beanie is a sweet mixed-breed girl, born approximately in 2016, who came to Dogs & Cats Forever in August 2026.

Shelter life has been a difficult adjustment for Beanie, and she is still very scared of all the changes around her. She needs someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to move slowly and patiently with her. But once Beanie decides you are her person, you will have a loyal friend for life.

Beanie enjoys spending time outside in the yard and going on short, leisurely walks. At this stage of her life, she isn’t asking for much—just a quiet, loving home where she can feel safe, comfortable, and cherished.

Woody and Forest have been at Dogs and Cats Forever since mid-April, when they arrived as part of a litter of puppies with their sweet Mama.

These handsome brothers are playful, curious, full of personality, and always ready for some puppy fun! They are still together at the shelter, but they do not have to be adopted together — each is ready to find a loving family of his own.

Like all puppies, they’ll need patience, training, and lots of love as they grow into wonderful companions.

Mama has been at Dogs and Cats Forever since mid-April, when she arrived with her puppies and did a wonderful job caring for and raising them. Now that her babies are finding homes, it’s finally Mama’s turn!

Mama is a sweet, gentle girl who is still very shy and skittish. She’s looking for a patient and loving home that will give her the time she needs to feel safe, learn to trust, and blossom.

Draco is an energetic and joyful boy who loves spending time with people and chasing his ball. He bounces around with playful enthusiasm and brings plenty of sunshine wherever he goes. Draco is still learning his leash manners and sometimes pulls a bit, but he is eager to learn with gentle guidance and consistency.

His unique facial markings make him truly one-of-a-kind. Draco would thrive in a home with a nice backyard where he can run, play, and burn off his happy energy.

Though timid at first, Cricket blossoms with patience and kindness. She finds comfort in routine, quiet surroundings, and gentle companionship. Having Captain around has helped her feel brave, but she’s also ready to open her heart to a family of her own.

Meet Buster!

Buster is a charming mixed-breed pup with striking black polka dots on his white coat—making us wonder if there’s a hint of Dalmatian in his lineage. Born around May 2023, this sweet soul joined us at Dogs and Cats Forever in November 2024.

At first, Buster might seem a little shy, but once he warms up to you, he’ll be your loyal companion for life. He adores cuddles, playtime, and leisurely walks—he’s great on a leash and enjoys the company of other dogs. His gentle and affectionate nature makes him an absolute joy to have around.

Meet Hazel:
Our Little Miracle Dog

Hazel’s story is one of incredible resilience. After a tragic incident where she was shot in the back with a BB gun and left paralyzed, Hazel has made remarkable progress. Thanks to the dedication of our staff and volunteers, she is now walking—and she no longer needs her stroller! It’s amazing to see how quickly she gets around and how joyfully she plays with the other dogs in the yard.

Hazel’s upper body is strong—just like her spirit. She’s a people-loving pup with a heart full of determination. While she once relied on stroller rides to explore the world, she now walks proudly on her own.

Hazel would thrive as a second dog in a household, as she absolutely loves the company of other dogs. She’s ready for adoption, and meet-and-greets can be scheduled to find her perfect match. The shelter team will support her new family every step of the way to ensure a smooth transition.
