I’m a beautiful thirteen-year-old girl who was at the shelter for 3 1/2 years before I was adopted last spring. Unfortunately, my owners lost their home and I had to come back to the shelter. I’m very sweet and I love to interact with people, but I don’t like to be picked up and I’m not comfortable jumping on anything higher than a chair. I often greet visitors at the back door and I am the first cat you see when you come into the building! I am tolerant of other cats but I would enjoy being your one and only. Did someone say movie? Then you absolutely need me along for the ride! I am a nearly 7 year-old female who needs some TLC. I was found living outside a fast-food restaurant, and although I am shy, I enjoy petting and love! I need a quiet home with someone who can spend time with me and earn my trust.

UPDATE…I was adopted last year after spending six years at the shelter. Unfortunately, I was returned after a few months because the resident cat was attacking me. I have only been back a short time, but I am receptive to petting and love. I am still hopeful that I will find a special someone to love and who will love me as well. Will I ever be a lap cat? Who knows? But I still have the potential to be your loving companion in a quiet home.
