Despite everything, Henessy remains a total sweetheart. He loves short walks where he can take his time sniffing around and taking care of business—he’s fully housebroken and insists on doing things the right way. He walks wonderfully on a leash and is happiest when he’s cuddled up next to someone he trusts.

Henessy is very people-oriented and enjoys being petted and simply spending time by your side. He previously lived with another dog and appears to be calm and non-reactive around other dogs.

First of all, Seventeen is not my real name. My real name is Mynie. A name I got 17 years ago when I was adopted as a two-month-old kitten from Dogs & Cats Forever. For 17 years my owner and I lived together happily-2 girls, enjoying each other’s love and companionship.
Sadly, my owner passed away last month, and I had to return to the shelter. Everyone was amazed at how good I look for my age and they nicknamed me Seventeen to remind everyone how important it is to find me a home where I can spend my remaining golden years. I am tolerant of some of the other cats at the shelter, but I was an only cat all my life, and I prefer being your one and only. I would really love to live the rest of my years in a home with someone who will love me and care for me. Please stop by and meet me. I’m ready to go home with you.
