Meet Taylor!

Taylor is a handsome young male dog, born around December 2024, and has been at Dogs and Cats Forever since April 2026.

When Taylor first arrived at the shelter, he was in rough shape. Thanks to lots of love, patience, and care, he has blossomed into the wonderful, sweet boy he was always meant to be. He has come such a long way, and it’s been a joy watching his true personality shine.

While Taylor can be a little shy when meeting new people, once he learns to trust you, his fun-loving side comes to life. He loves chasing his squeaky ball and will happily bounce around, showing off his goofy personality.

Taylor loves getting out for walks and even enjoys a short jog. He walks beautifully by your side and makes a wonderful companion for daily adventures. He’s also a smart young dog who picks up new commands quickly and enjoys learning, making him a great fit for someone who wants to continue his training.

He gets along well with most other dogs and has a favorite play buddy at the shelter, showing just how much his confidence has grown.

Meet Libbey

Libbey is a sweet senior terrier mix, born around 2016, and has been at Dogs & Cats Forever since April 2026.

This lovely girl is a true people-lover and a cuddle bug. Don’t let her age fool you though. Libbey still has plenty of spark! She walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys going for walks, and loves spending time in the backyard chasing lizards.

Libbey is a bit of an escape artist, so she’ll need a home where she can be supervised and kept safe. She would most likely do best as the only dog in the home, where she can enjoy a calm and relaxed environment. That said, she has shown that she likes larger dogs and may do well with the right canine companion.

Meet Frito, a resilient little guy with a heart full of love and a spirit that just won’t quit. When Frito first arrived, he needed medical care and a chance to heal. Thanks to that care, he’s now on the mend and doing better every single day, and his happy personality is shining through.

Frito is incredibly kind, handsome, and has a gentle soul. Despite whatever he went through in the past, he hasn’t let it dim his love for people. He’s been starting to enjoy his walks, soaking up yard time, and discovering just how fun life can be. He still has that playful, youthful energy and is ready to keep blossoming in a home of his own.

Bambi is a beautiful brindle girl. Excited when she first gets to meet people. Likes lots of loving and attention. Big snuggler. Enjoys playing ball and splashing water.

WHISKEY (AKA BIG MAC)

MALE – TERRIER MIX – BORN SOMETIME 2020 – AT SHELTER SINCE: AUG 2023

Whiskey is a friendly and easygoing Pity boy, born sometime in 2020. He’s been at the shelter since August 2023 and, despite being such an awesome dog, he hasn’t received the attention he truly deserves. Whiskey has a calm, gentle nature and quickly warms up to new people. He isn’t a big cuddler, but he loves a good belly rub and gentle pets, showing his soft side once he feels comfortable and secure in his surroundings. With time and trust, he’s the kind of dog who settles in beautifully and becomes a loyal companion.

Whiskey enjoys simple pleasures like playing with stuffed toys, spending time in the yard, and even cooling off in the pool on warm days. He loves going for walks and is very good on a leash, though he can be a bit strong at times.
Whiskey would thrive in a home with adults and teenagers who will give him the chance to open up and show just how wonderful he really is. Once you meet him, it’s hard not to fall for his charm.

LIL BUBS

MALE – TERRIER MIX – BORN APPROX: FEB 2023 – AT SHELTER SINCE: JULY 2023

Lil’ Bubs is a handsome, smart, and strong terrier mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is a silly, playful boy who loves his walks, splashing in the pool, and burning off his energy any chance he gets.

Bubs is very intelligent and knows basic commands. He is housebroken and eager to learn more. He will do best with a confident adopter who can provide structure, guidance, and consistency. He can be a strong walker on leash and needs plenty of daily exercise to get his wiggles out.

This energetic guy would thrive in an active home with a large, fenced yard where he can run, play, and swim to his heart’s content
( pool is not required…). He does not like cats and does best with select dogs, especially with proper introductions.
