Addie was dumped at the shelter when she was only a few days away from delivering a litter of four babies. She is a sweet, petite girl who is ready for a home of her own where she can be pampered and loved.
Millie came to the shelter after her leg was broken in a car engine, where she had been napping. She is four months old, now and her leg is completely healed. She is very active and would do best in a home with active adults and older kids to play with. She loves other cats and would even tolerate a dog.
This beautiful healthy older calico girl is Renata, she is a very loving happy cat but she MUST be the only animal in your house. She will greet you at the door, cuddle with you at night, sit on your lap, tap you on the shoulder for treats, sit next to you while you eat in hopes of getting a bite too. She is one of the most loving cats I have ever known and so so sweet. However, she is possessive and wants you only to herself. She is very gentle with “her” human. Renata is in the permanent foster program so no cost – no vet fees!!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!! doesn’t someone have an empty nest?
Great News! My adoption fee has been paid by my Guardian Angel-Beth Stern.
Salem is a super-sweet boy who has many scars from life as an outside cat before we found him. He is also positive for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) also from living outside and being bitten by other cats. He is one of the gentlest, most loving cats at the shelter, and he would be perfect for an owner of any age. Salem is available for permanent foster as well as for adoption.
Lucas and Luna are a two-year-old Siamese mix brother and sister who came to the shelter a few months ago. They are very well-mannered and sweet, but like most housecats are extremely out of place at the shelter. They need a quiet home where they can resume their lives as lap warmers and window watchers.
Libby and her brother Amos have been though a lot together, but you would never know it from their sweet and loving personalities. Amos is a lovebug who’ll sit in your lap, while Libby will sit next to you on your bed or chair. They were housed in a warehouse for almost a year when their former shelter closed down, but despite everything they always had each other. They are available for either adoption or permanent foster, but no matter what happens, they will always love each other. They are ready to love you, too.
Tytus is a handsome four year old boy who was adopted from us as a kitten. He was recently found as a stray in Brevard County, but fortunately his microchip identified him as a DCF cat and he was returned to us from Animal Control. Tytus is a sweet and friendly boy who would be happiest with an active adult family or a family with older kids.
Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by a Guardian Angel.
Tippy is a middle aged Russian Blue mix boy who came from a closed down shelter in Clewiston in 2010. He is very friendly with people but should be an only cat because he has a tendency to be dominant with other cats. He would do best in a semi active adult home.
Kiki was adopted from us two years ago, but, sadly her owner is relocating, so she is once again looking for a forever home. Kiki is very sweet but can be a bit spunky at times. She is frontal declawed and would do best in a home with adults who would pamper her. She is nine years old, so a middle aged owner with no other pets would be perfect.
Misty Sue is a beautiful Russian Blue bobtail mixed girl. She was originally adopted from Dogs & Cats as an eight week old but was returned when her owner could no longer care for her. Misty Sue is positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) but she needs no special food or medicine, and she will have a normal lifespan. She would prefer a home where she is the only cat.
Update: Jade has been adopted.
Jade is a six month old girl who loves to cuddle. She came to the shelter because her owner could not care for her. She loves to play, but her favorite place to be is in your lap. Jade is a very small cat who will probably be kitten-size even when she is all grown up
Update: Brady has been adopted.
Brady is an active nine month old who loves to talk. He is playful and social with people of all ages and with other cats. He was originally found as a stray but was obliviously a house pet at one time. Brady is charming boy who can’t wait to meet you
Siren came to us when her owner dumped her in the parking lot of the shelter. She was pregnant at the time and soon gave birth to four beautiful kittens. Siren only a year old and she loves to play and act like the kitten that she still is. She is very affectionate with people and would do best in an active home. She prefers being an only cat.f
Zoe is a nine year old Siamese mix who is frontal declawed. She was adopted from us a year ago but her owner passed away last week and she was returned to us. She is a very sweet and affectionate girl and family friends said that she and her owner were very bonded. She would be a great cat for a senior looking for a companion. She gets along with other cats and even has lived with dogs in the past. Zoe is available for adoption or as a permanent foster.

Finch and Cass are a mother/son combo who would love a home with room for both of them. Finch(the tabby) is only eight months old and his mom, Cass (the dilute calico) is one year. they would be happiest in a semi-active adult home with no dogs or small kids. They often sleep and play together, so they need to find a home together, too.
Update: Charlie has been adopted. Charlie is a handsome, frontal declawed twelve-year- old boy who had to come to the shelter after his mom moved into an apartment which doesn’t allow cats. He has lived in a home all of his life and needs to find another family as soon as possible. He needs a quiet setting with adults who will give him the TLC he is used to. He is available for adoption or permanent foster.
Update: Muffin has been adopted.
Muffin is a one year old sweetie who came to the shelter with a litter of kittens. Of course, her babies have all found homes, and now Muffin is waiting for someone to give her the same opportunity. She is smart and affectionate and would be happiest in a semi-active home with adults or older kids.
